Flights and tribulations

Greetings from your jetlagged Americans. People were not kidding how tired you are the first day you step into a new time zone when running on 4 hours of sleep in 40. We landed in Dublin, Ireland around 5 and got through customs at about 6 after dealing with a grumpy irish man. We jumped on the bus right outside of the airport and made it to the hostel within 20 minutes. Update: the first couple we met happened to be a couple from California - go figure. Our hostel is called Jacobs Inn and is the stereotypical expectation - tons of backpackers or huge suitcasers to be honest, planning their trip just as we are. We walked around Dublin for three hours and found out two things: Europeans walk FAST. And they pass eachother on sidewalks on the left hand side rather than the right like most Americans. Also, we haven't heard any traditional irish music yet, it's all the same music they play on kissfm at home - how disappointing. From here on out in Dublin today we plan to sleep off our jetlag and drink some Guinness. Sending our love from Dublin!
